My iDL45/iDN45 is not charging my iPad when connected to the USB port.
The USB port only provides 1 amp of electrical current which is about half the necessary amperage needed to charge an iPad within a normal charging cycle. However, iPad’s with a “lighting” port can be charged normally via the iDL45’s docking connector which provides the required 2.1 amps.
