• App Functionality

  • I am unable to "PAIR" the iHome Enhance App to my mobile device.

    1. Make sure “Location Services” is activated on your device. To check the location services on your device:

       • iOS devices – Settings > Privacy > Location Services, make sure it is turned on.
       • Android devices – Settings > Connections > Location, make sure it is turned on. Go back to Settings > Apps > iHome Enhance > Permissions > Location, make sure it is turned on as well.

    2. Make sure your mobile device’s Bluetooth is enabled (turned ON).

    3. Proceed to pair the app to your desired mobile device.

  • How to Set the Clock?

    1. Press and Hold the Time Set Button located on the back of the unit until the display flashes.
    2. Press the – or + Buttons to adjust the clock to the current time (hold for rapid setting). Make sure you set the correct AM/PM time. The PM indicator appears to the left of the display; there is no AM indicator.
    3. To toggle the clock display between standard 12 hour time and 24 hour (“military”) time display, press any Alarm Button while the display is flashing during time setting.
    4. Press and release the Time Set Button to confirm the current time setting. The YEAR will flash on the display. Press the – or + Buttons to set the correct year.
    5. Press and release the Time Set Button to confirm the current year setting. The MONTH will flash on the display. Press the – or + Buttons to set the correct month (hold for rapid adjustment).
    6. Press and release the Time Set Button to confirm the current month setting. The DAY will flash on the display. Press the – or + Buttons to set the correct date (hold for rapid adjustment).
    7. Press and release the Time Set Button to confirm the date. 2 beeps will sound to indicate time setting mode is complete.

  • How to Set the Alarm?

    1. Press and hold the Alarm Button for 2 seconds until the alarm time display, alarm button and alarm icon flash. A beep sounds.
    2. Press the - or + Buttons to adjust the alarm time to the desired time (hold for rapid setting). Make sure you set the correct AM/PM alarm time. The PM indicator appears to the left of the display; there is no AM indicator.
    3. Press the Alarm Button to confirm the alarm time setting. The alarm schedule will flash.
    4. Press the - or + Buttons to cycle to the desired schedule: “7 d” (every day), “5 d” (weekdays) or “2 d” (weekends).
    5. Press the Alarm Button to confirm the alarm schedule setting. The wake-to source will flash.
    6. Press the - or + Buttons to select the desired wake to alarm source: Bluetooth, FM radio or selected tone.
       • Wake to Bluetooth: You will wake to the currently linked Bluetooth device. If no device is detected at wake time, the alarm will default to tone one (”t1”).
       • Wake to Radio: Press the Alarm Button to confirm. Press the Presets Button to select an FM preset to wake to, or press the or Buttons to tune in a desired wake to station.
       • Wake to Tones: You will wake to the selected tone. Press the Alarm Button to confirm, then press the or Buttons to preview and select a desired tone (t1 -t4).
    7. Press the Alarm Button to confirm the wake to source. The alarm volume will flash.
    8. Press the - or + Buttons to select the desired alarm volume.
    9. Press the Alarm Button to complete alarm setting and exit alarm setting mode. 2 beeps will confirm alarm setting is complete. The alarm icon will remain on the display, indicating the alarm is armed.

  • How do I program the Snooze time?

    • To program Snooze, press and hold the Snooze/Display Dimmer Button for 2 seconds during normal operation (when no alarm is sounding). A beep will sound.
    • Press the - or + Buttons to select the desired snooze time (between 1 and 29 minutes).
    • Press and release the Snooze/Display Dimmer Button to confirm Snooze setting. 2 beeps will sound.

  • How to use the Snooze function?

    While the alarm is sounding, press and release the Snooze/Display Dimmer Button to temporarily silence the alarm for the set duration (9 minutes is the default). Snooze can be used several times during alarm.

  • How do I adjust the display brightness?

    To adjust the brightness of the display, press and release the Snooze/Display Dimmer Button during normal operation (when no alarm is sounding) to cycle through the brightness display settings, including turning the display OFF.

  • How to preset FM Radio Station?

    The unit allows you to store up to 6 FM radio station presets

    1. Press and release the FM Presets Button. The FM current FM station frequency appears on the display.
    2. Press and release the FM Presets Button as needed until the preset number (P1- P6) you wish to set is displayed, then press and hold the FM Presets Button to enter setting mode.
    3. Press the - or + Buttons to tune the radio to the desired station (hold to scan for the next clear station).
    4. Press and hold the FM Presets Button. 2 beeps will sound to confirm the preset has been assigned. Repeat steps 2 - 4 until you have set up to 6 preset stations.
    5. To listen to a preset FM station at any time, follow steps 1 - 2 to turn on FM radio mode and cycle to the desired preset.

  • How to use Sleep Mode?

    This unit allows you to sleep to the current sound source for a set time before turning the unit OFF.

    1. To set Sleep time, press and release the Sleep/Clock Adjust Button as needed to cycle to the desired sleep duration: 120, 90, 60, 30 or 15 minutes or OFF (turns the unit OFF).
    2. Press the Volume Buttons to adjust the sleep volume on the unit.

  • The display is too dark?

    Try pressing the Snooze/Dimmer Button on top of the unit repeatedly to adjust the LED brightness.

• Bluetooth

  • How to pair my iBT233 with my Bluetooth-enabled device?

    1. Turn on your Bluetooth device and make it “discoverable” by turning on Bluetooth mode (check in Options or Settings).
    2. Press the Bluetooth Button to turn on the unit in Bluetooth mode,indicated by “bt” on the display and the Bluetooth Button lighting up green.
    3. Press and hold the Bluetooth Button for 2 seconds. “PAIR” will flash on the display, indicating the iBT233 is in pairing mode.
    4. “iHome iBT233” should appear in your device’s Bluetooth menu. Select “iHome iBT233” to connect it. If prompted for a passcode, enter “1234” on your device’s keypad.

    If pairing is successful, 2 beeps will sound and the Bluetooth Button will glow solid green indicating the iBT233 is ready to play music.

  • What is the Bluetooth wireless range for audio streaming?

    The Bluetooth wireless range is approximately 33 feet.
