    • Unit doesn’t respond (frozen or locked up).

      If the unit becomes unresponsive, the software may have frozen or become locked up. Remove the unit from the charging base. Insert the end of a paper clip while the unit is ON or similar into the reset pin hole on the bottom of the unit.

    • Trouble pairing device/computer with this unit

      Bluetooth implementation varies depending on your device’s hardware and operating system.

      • Make sure you have the latest firmware for your device.
      • When you power ON the speaker, it will automatically link with the last previously paired Bluetooth device if the device is still within range (approx. 30 feet). To pair with a different device you must turn off Bluetooth capability on the already paired device, or take it out of range.
      • Make sure your device is working properly. Check your device’s manual for details on Bluetooth pairing and linking.
    • Unit doesn’t respond (no power).

      1. Check that all connections are correct and properly plugged in.
      2. Make sure your device is properly paired with the iBT30.
      3. Make sure the Power is ON, indicated by a solid blue light on the front of the unit.

    • My speaker does not “turn-on.”

      The rechargeable battery needs to be fully charged prior to its first use. For best results, please charge the speaker for 10 hours.

    • Why is there an audio delay when switching between an Aux line-in connection and Bluetooth connection?

      Audio playing through the unit via the Aux line-in jack will be interrupted whenever Bluetooth audio is detected. Allow 3-10 seconds for the unit to resume audio output.

    • What products are compatible with AUX-input?

      The Aux input 3.5mm - 1/8 inch is compatible with any analog-audio device outputting audio from a headphone or line-out jack connector.

    • What’s the warranty period for this product?

      Limited 1 Year Warranty: iHome Products, a division of SDI Technologies Inc. (hereafter referred to as SDI Technologies), warrants this product to be free from defects in workmanship and materials, under normal use and conditions, for a period of 1 Year from the date of original purchase.

    • How long does the internal battery last on a full charge?

      The internal battery can last up to 10 hours on a full charge.

    • Can the USB port charge Android devices?

      Yes, the USB port will charge most Android devices.

    • Can I use this unit in other countries?

      Yes. The power adapter is able to handle input voltage from 100 to 240VAC. You may need a plug adapter to convert for the overseas outlet. Different regions of the world use different FM radio frequency steps and ranges. You will need to select the one that matches the standards in your region (USA, EUROPE, JAPAN, AUSTRALIA, or CHINA).     • Can I link two iBT30 speakers together?

      1. Setting up the “Master” Speaker a. Slide the power switch to the ON position.
        b. Press and hold the “Pairing” button and “Volume +” button together for 2 seconds. c. The Pairing confirmation tone will sound.

      2. Setting up the “Slave” Speaker a. Slide the power switch to the ON position.
        b. Press and hold the “Pairing” button and “Volume -” button together for 2 seconds. c. The Pairing confirmation tone will sound.

      Note: Volume is controlled on the Master Speaker.

    • Can I charge a device via USB port while the unit is operating on rechargeable battery power only?

      Yes, the unit will charge USB devices while operating on rechargeable battery power. Please note that battery power will deplete very quickly if you are charging a device while playing music

    • What is the wattage output?

      The unit produces 10 Watts of output.

    • Can I hear phone calls through this unit when connected via Bluetooth?

      No. This unit does not have the capability to transmit phone calls. If you receive a call while listening to music, the unit will stop the Bluetooth transmission of music allowing the user to answer the call on the phone. When finished with the call, the Bluetooth transmission of music will resume.

    • I have the speaker connected via Bluetooth to my PC / Mac. However, I cannot hear any sound coming through the speaker?

      Make sure that you have selected this unit as your “playback” device on your PC or Mac.

      1. Windows 7/8/10: a. Right click on the speaker icon located on the bottom right of your screen b. Select playback devices c. Select the device you want to play and click OK.

      2. Mac: a. Click on System preferences icon b. Click on Sound c. Select Output d. Select “iHome unit stereo” for the output source, and adjust the output volume if necessary.

    • When paired if I turn the speaker to Bluetooth it takes a few seconds to connect or display the Bluetooth icon?

      This is normal, Bluetooth needs time to search and reconnect.
