Unit doesn’t respond (locked up or frozen)
The unit may need to be reset. To do so, press and hold the > Button and >II the Button TOGETHER for 8 SECONDS. A long beep will sound, indicating the unit has been reset.

Trouble pairing device/computer with Bluetooth Speaker
Bluetooth implementation varies depending on your device’s hardware and operating system.
- Make sure you have the latest firmware for your device.
- Make sure your device is working properly. Check your device’s manual for details on Bluetooth pairing and linking.
- When you power ON the speaker, it will automatically link with the last previously paired Bluetooth device if the device is still within range (approx. 30 feet). To pair with a different device you must turn off Bluetooth capability on the already paired device, or take it out of range.

Unit doesn’t respond (no power)
- Make sure unit is completely charged.
- Check that all connections are correct and properly plugged in.
- Make sure your device is properly paired with the iBT4.
- Make sure the Power/Mode Dial is not in the OFF (left) position.

What’s the warranty period for this product?
Limited 1 Year Warranty: iHome Products, a division of SDI Technologies Inc. (hereafter referred to as SDI Technologies), warrants this product to be free from defects in workmanship and materials, under normal use and conditions, for a period of 1 Year from the date of original purchase.

Can I connect two of these speakers together?
You can only select one unit as a Bluetooth output source. However, you can “chain link” additional speakers by using a 3.5mm audio cable. Simply connect one end of the audio cable to the “line-out” port of the active Bluetooth/playing speaker and the other end to the “line-in” port of the speaker that you want to add on.
NOTE: The output signal is mono. -
How long do I need to charge the battery on this unit?
The internal lithium ion battery charges when connected to power via the AC adapter. For first time use, charge the battery completely (for about 4 to 6 hours). The battery indicator on the display shows the battery/charging status.

How long does the internal battery last on a full charge?
The internal battery can last up to 6 hours on a full charge.

Why is the volume output lower when running on battery power versus when running on AC power?
This is normal to conserve battery power.

When changing the FM frequency to use the Radio outside the USA the display is faded and difficult to see?
This is normal when running on battery to conserve battery power. Once you press < or > buttons the display would get brighter and it will shut off automatically after 5 seconds if no functions are used.

The unit produces 10 Watts of output.

Can I hear phone calls through this unit when connected via Bluetooth?
No. This unit does not have the capability to transmit phone calls. If you receive a call while listening to music, the unit will stop the Bluetooth transmission of music allowing the user to answer the call on the phone. When finished with the call, the Bluetooth transmission of music will resume.

I have the speaker connected via Bluetooth to my PC / Mac. However, I cannot hear any sound coming through the speaker?
Make sure that you have selected this unit as your “playback” device on your PC or Mac.
Windows 7/8/10: a. Right click on the speaker icon located on the bottom right of your screen b. Select playback devices c. Select the device you want to play and click OK.
Mac: a. Click on System preferences icon b. Click on Sound c. Select Output d. Select “iHome unit stereo” for the output source, and adjust the output volume if necessary.

When paired if I turn the speaker to Bluetooth it takes a few seconds to connect or display the Bluetooth icon?
This is normal, Bluetooth needs time to search and reconnect.
