Unit doesn’t charge my device
- Make sure the unit is connected to working AC power outlet. Unit will not charge devices while operating on batteries.
- The USB port will NOT charge iPad models.

Resetting the unit
If the unit does not respond properly or appears to be “frozen”, you may wish to try resetting it. To do so, disconnect unit from AC power, remove all batteries and let the unit sit for a few minutes before replacing the batteries and reconnecting to AC power.

Using with iHome+Apps
- Apps will not work when operating on batteries.
- Alarm app will wake to last connection (USB port or 30-pin dock) a device was PLAYED through, not the last connection docked to.

Unit doesn’t respond (no power)
- AC adapter is not plugged into a working wall socket or not plugged into the power supply jack on back of the unit:
- Make sure the AC adapter is properly connected to a working wall outlet and to the power supply jack on the unit.
- Wall outlet is not functioning:
- Plug another device into the same outlet to confirm the outlet is working.
- Make sure any associated wall switch that control the outlet is ON.
- If operating on batteries:
- Make sure the batteries are fresh and are properly installed.

My iHome unit is not recognizing my iOS device (iPhone/iPad/iPod) through the dock connector.
Protective cases require removal prior to docking to the iHome unit. Please try docking the device without the protective case. NOTE: You can use the USB port to charge and play your device as well.

What products are compatible with AUX-input?
The Aux input 3.5mm - 1/8 inch is compatible with any analog-audio device outputting audio from a headphone or line-out jack connector.

What’s the warranty period for this product?
Limited 1 Year Warranty: iHome Products, a division of SDI Technologies Inc. (hereafter referred to as SDI Technologies), warrants this product to be free from defects in workmanship and materials, under normal use and conditions, for a period of 1 Year from the date of original purchase.

Can I use this unit in other countries?
Yes. The Power Adapter is able to handle input voltage from 100 to 240VAC. You may need a plug adapter to convert for the overseas outlet.

Can the USB port charge and play Android devices?
The USB port will charge your Android device but does not support audio. To play audio you can connect it via a patch cord to the 3.5mm line-in jack.

Can I use this iHome unit with 30-pin and Lightning 8-pin iOS devices (iPod, iPhone, iPad)?
Yes, you can dock 30-pin devices and connect Lightning 8-pin devices to the USB port.

Why I can’t set my smartphone or other device as the wake source via the iHome + Sleep app?
The iDN55 has two audio output channels; a docking connector on top of the unit and a USB port in the front of the unit. The iHome + Sleep app will send the wake signal to the channel which was “last” used to play music. If you last played music via the dock connector, the wake signal will be sent to the device connected to the dock. If you last played music via the USB port, the wake signal will be sent to the device connected to the USB.
